Starting in February, I read the entire Alex Cross series (all 27 books so far) in order. Fast, fun reads. Hard to put down although they do tend to get a little predictable and a lot unbelievable. Alex should have been dead a few times and should be suffering at least a little from the effects of his numerous injuries over the 15-ish years that the series covers. I do enjoy the character development and depth especially of his family members. He has left a loose thread dangling with Christine. I have already placed my order for the NEXT book in the series Pretty good with enough twists and guessing to keep me reading. However starting to get a little disappointed in Cross’s crime solving skills. It seems the crimes are only getting solved when killers slap the evidence in his face.
